China Yachting Federation (initialized as C.Y.F.) is a non-governmental and non-profit national professional association registered and founded in 2008 by a group of prominent yacht and boat brokers, clubs and hotels/real estates developers with the aim of promoting standards of professionalism and ethics in the yachting industry throughout the country, and ultimately, Asia. By now, C.Y.F. is the only yachting organization in China with this focus and enjoys its unique standing in all corners of China.

Over the last five years in particular, yachting has evolved immeasurably and, as a result, C.Y.F. will adopt an increasingly influential and significant role in an industry which has no regulatory body or officials.

The membership of C.Y.F. now constitutes over 8 major brokers, clubs and hotels/real estates developers as founding members, not including all the branch offices of international brokers in Hong Kong, and Macao. Their collective expertise spans over past 10 years and covers the sale, purchase, charter and management of substantial yachts, in addition to all other aspects of yachting such as new construction, project consultancy, MCA, ISM, crew recruitment, safety and manning.

Every year, C.Y.F will hold various seminars and exhibitions for the members to display their new products and new technology.  Also, the members will benefit from the C.Y.F publications.

For the next decade, C.Y.F.s commitment is to continue to blaze the trail for setting the highest standards of professional expertise in the Chinese yachting commerce.

OUR OBJECTIVES

C.Y.F. is a national non-profit professional association dedicated to large crewed yachting commerce.

The Federation’s objectives are:
To establish and maintain a high standard of professional ethics, professional rules and skills in charter, sales, and yachts management.

To establish, print and distribute recommended contractual documents specific to the profession and to encourage its members to promote them among professionals.

To encourage inter-professional exchanges and contacts on all matters of common interest, including lobbying.

OUR ACTIVITIES
To provide a wider range of services for Members or between Members and their contracted parties through its official publication.

To organize its annual Conference or seminars and showcases in order to promote the state-ofart technology and new products as well as the services for this industry and to establish one trade platform for its members to meet with the international vendors and partners every year.

To conduct market surveys and compile the marketing reports on the industrial growth and business development for the Chinese market.

2. Membership Categories
  Principal Membership
-Annual Dues: Euro 3,000
-Includes any firm, corporation or partnership engaged in the business of yachts/boats in term of chartering, owners and brand services of hotels as well as manufacturing side. Only principal members have regular voting privileges.
Associate Membership
-Annual Dues: Euro 2,000
-Includes suppliers of raw and semi-processed materials, equipment or components and services
for the yachts industry. This membership has no voting privileges.
